Girl Scouts Welcome New Member/Marketing Specialist

Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council announces that Stephanie Richardson has been hired as our membership/marketing specialist for Bannock, Bingham, Bear Lake, Caribou, Power, Franklin and Oneida counties.
Stephanie has had a successful career as a business owner of Countryside Interiors in Pocatello and has worked in sales and marketing for many years. She has a B.B.A. degree in marketing from Idaho State University.

Ms. Richardson will be working to increase volunteer participation in Girl Scout programs and work with current volunteers to increase the number of girls returning each year. Girl Scouting has many cutting edge personal growth programs to assist girls of all backgrounds and provide opportunities for girls to practice new skills and be exposed to new experiences and contribute to the communities in which they live. She will develop specific marketing approaches for Girl Scout programs in the community and will plan and implement strategies for the cultivation, recruitment and retention of girls and adults based on a current knowledge of data on demographics, membership trends and community resources.

The Girl Scouts is in need of adult volunteers. Girl Scouts works to build girls of courage, confidence and character and relies on community members to lead programs. There are many opportunities that provide programming beyond traditional troops to help girls build self-esteem and self-worth. Contact Stephanie if you would like to hear more about volunteer opportunities at 208-234-9076.

Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council is located in the new Idaho Food Bank building at 555 South 1st, in Pocatello.
