Girl Scout Troop 31 Bakes Up Awareness for Bronze Award
BOISE, ID – Girl Scout Troop 31 are baking up awareness for their Bronze Award at Simply Cats from 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, November 15th located at 2833 S. Victory View Lane in Boise. They will have an array of sweets for sale including brownies, cookies, fudge, and caramel corn. Proceeds from the day’s sales will go toward Girl Scouting.
Troop 31 has chosen the Simply Cats food pantry as their Bronze Award project. The Bronze Award gives Junior Girl Scouts the opportunity to learn leadership and planning skills while making a positive impact in their community. They will be raising awareness and funds to contribute the food pantry. Food and other necessities will be housed in the pantry for community cats in need. “People were taking their cats in because they couldn’t feed them," said Tressa Young.
Admission is free. For more information contact Tressa Young at 208-461-4207.
