KABAKORO SELECTED AS JUSTINE MAGAZINE AND GIRL SCOUTS OF THE USA R.E.A.L. GIRL CONTEST WINNER

Hosanna Kabakoro, a member of the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council, proved that she is a Remarkable, Energetic, Aspirational Leader after being selected the winner of Justine magazine and Girl Scouts of the USA R.E.A.L Girl Contest.

Tennessee-based Justine magazine partnered with GSUSA to showcase amazing Girl Scouts who are working to make the world a better place in their local communities and beyond. As the national winner, Kabakoro will be featured on the cover of Justine magazine and her community-centered activities will be showcased in a two-page article.

“Making the world a better place is a priority among Girl Scouts, and it’s exciting to have Hosanna representing Idaho and Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council in Justine magazine by showcasing her extraordinary service and dedication to Girl Scouting,” says Shelli Rambo Roberson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council. “She is a great example of the wonderful things Girl Scouts are accomplishing through their leadership.”

Kabakoro, of Twin Falls, has earned the highest award in Girl Scouting—the Gold Award—was selected as a 2009 National Young Woman of Distinction for her demonstration of extraordinary leadership in the completion of a community action project, received the Jefferson Award, and was named ‘Miss Idaho Teen USA’ last year.

Congratulations, Hosanna!
